It was Valery's turn to get her thumb scanned. 

"Alert! this lady is not nice and went to the Principal's office twice every week last year! she may not go in!" said the lady on the thumb scanner.

"What! That's not true! Try it again! I insist! Please!" replied Valery.

 "Alert! this lady is not nice and went to the Principal's office twice every week last year! she may not go in!" said the lady on the thumb scanner again.

"I'm sorry ma'am, but you may not go in," said the staff member. 

And two of the chefs started pushing her out.

COUNTDOWN TO CHRISTMAS DAY 24

On the 24th day of Christmas my true love gave to me, 24 dozen eggs! 

23 coconut chickens

22 Bonkers banana chips! 

Bump! bump! bump!

21 Broccoli banana chips

20 bonkers people!

19 Ladies dancing with coconuts! 

18 eggs 

17 coconuts falling on people's heads!

16 macaroni and cheeses!

15 flying pigs!

bump! bump! bump!

14 flying elephant pigs!

13 cuckoo crazies

12 floating coconuts!

10 chickens saying buck coconut

9 ladies dancing with coconuts

When Valery, Stephani and Dylan got to campus, Dylan ran inside because she wanted to sign in and get her thumb scanned as fast as possible. 

"Hello I'm Dylan Vinyard," said Dylan to the staff member.

"Hello Ms. Vinyard, how are you today?" asked the staff member.

"I'm doing great, Sir. How are you this wonderful evening?" asked Dylan.

"I'm doing great Ma'am, please put your thumb inside the thumb scanning mechanism," said the staff member.

"Yes Sir," replied Dylan.

"No Alert, this person of the unknown may head in," said the person on the thumb scanning mechanism 

"You may head to your room Ma'am."

''Thank you!''

He smiled.

"Dylan, it's time to go!" shouted Valery to her younger sister who was a freshman.

"I'm coming big sis! Let me grab my soccer ball!" Dylan yelled back.

"Dylan!" yelled Valery.

"What?" Dylan replied.

"Coach Lignin made me the queen of soccer not you!" yelled Valery angrily.

"Yeah, I was just grabbing it for you," Dylan said.

"Sorry, Stephani, my sis is finishing packing,'' said Valery.

''It's OK," replied Stephani.

"Sorry about that," said Dylan when she got downstairs.

"It's OK," said Stephani.

"Can I drive?" asked Dylan.     

"Sure,'' said Stephani

Saturday Stories Chapter 19 Countdown to Christmas

                                                            Chapter 19

Stephani's eyes grew wide when she saw Alex answer the door.

"Hi, Stephani. What are you doing here?" asked Alex. 

"I'm here to pick up Valery," she replied. 

"Yeah, I don't think I told you last year, she's my sister," replied Alex.

"What! Lauren got into an argument with her," exclaimed Stephani.

"Yeah, she told me about it. She said she cried when she got back to her dorm room," said Alex.

"I'm so excited we are Seniors!!!" cried Stephani.

"Well, I'll go get Val," said Alex.

 "Aren't you coming?" asked Stephani.

"No, but I have to go pick up Ben," said Alex with a sigh.

"I wish we could talk some more," sighed Stephani.

"Val, Stephani is here!" shouted Alex.

"Hold on Little Bro, I gotta grab my computer!" Valery yelled back.

"She will be right there," said Alex.

"Can we have a date night soon?" asked Stephani.

"Sure beautiful."

And right before Val walked up to them, they kissed. (On the cheek) 

"Hello Stephani, nice to meet you, I heard you are best friends with Lauren," Val said.

Stephani gulped.
