Hello! How are you all today? Hope your having an amazing week. But besides that please still follow me on my instagram and subscribe (I think is what it is) to this blog! Thx!

    GYMNASTICS NEWS OF THE WEEK!
Since I've posted last a lot has happened such as: Winter cup; Nastia cup; NCAA Season beginning and many shocking announcements.

    Winter Cup
Winter Cup! One of the most exciting meets for the US of the year. It always kicks off the season with a big bang and just lets us see where everyone is after a few months since worlds and the beginning of the '23 season. We have Lexi Zeiss coming in first with a total All Around score of 53.200. She is committed to LSU for college and I'm excited to see her shine there. She got a 13.450 on vault, 13.500 on bars, 13.100 on beam and 13.150 on floor. Lexi was an alternate for the '22 US world team. I feel like this is gonna be the season where she proves herself to be as good as she is. Coming in second we have Ashlie Sullivan from WOGA clinching bronze on both beam and floor, great to see her do good at winter cup. 3rd Nola Mathews extremely close to making the world team last year I believe she had a fall on bars that messed her up but it's chill. Vault champ the queen herself Joscelyn Roberson that girl has such a chance at Paris and I have faith she can. Honestly its gonna be REALLY hard picking a US team for Paris. There's a chance we could see the past 3 Olympic all around champions competing together. Suni Lee, Simone Biles, and Gabby Douglas (who we'll get to later). Bars went to Zoe Miller Beam was Skye Blakely she was on the worlds team last year. That girl is a beam QUEEN! Her routine JAM PACKED with difficulty she just  needs to nail it and she's got a world or even Olympic title in her hands. Floor went to Kaliya Lincoln I dont know anything about her I'm sorry Kaliya if you are reading this but I'm assuming she is a rookie but still I'm excited to see her in the future.

Nastia cup

With two 39.075s, Neff and Chio were crowned Nastia Liukin Cup champions. It seemed the right result after they proved to be the most prepared and complete gymnasts in the field. I honestly did not see anything about this so that's all I know.

NCAA!
(according to NCAA),  "Alabama (197.720) 7 California (197.825) 9 Kentucky (197.710) 10 Michigan St. (197.595) Illinois (196.745) Western Michigan (196.590) Iowa (196.650) West Virginia (196.515) 1 *Oklahoma (198.355) 2 Florida (198.110) 16 Ohio St. (197.100) 15 Arizona St. (197.105) Arkansas (197.080) Maryland (196.710) NC State (196.460) Towson (196.450) Ball St. (196.395) Penn St. (196.415) 5 Utah (197.910) 6 LSU (197.840) 12 Auburn (197.480) 11 Oregon St. (197.490) Southern Utah (196.820) Georgia (196.955) Washington (196.585) Nebraska (196.730) 4 *UCLA (197.950) 3 Michigan (198.080) 13 Missouri (197.115) 14 *Denver (197.445) Stanford (196.930) Minnesota (197.015) BYU (196.400) Arizona (196.570) Boise St. (196.285) North Carolina (196.295)" These are the top scores this season so lets get into some meets.

We'll start with big 10s which honestly session 1 BELONGED to Minnesota like they killed it. Mya Hooten is a floor QUEEN! Like I cannot describe how crazy this girl is she just kills it. Session one was Minnesota, Penn State, Rutgers, Illinois, Nebraska and Maryland. Session two was Michigan, Michigan State, Iowa and Ohio State. Michigan won this session. Michigan State in 2nd and I don't remember who got 3rd I'm just gonna say its Ohio State but knowing my luck its gonna be Iowa but you know how I am. Michigan was the overall B1G champ then Michigan State then Minnesota so congrats to Michigan for that. Big 12 honestly we all knew it was gonna be OU I mean they just crush. Pac 12s my favorite  (according to PAC 12 network)," Nine of the 12 received at least one first-team status, while the 12 collected a total of 26 awards among first-and-second-team honors in the all-around and the vault, bars, beam and floor events. The 12 honorees were the second-most among all conferences in 2023. Back-to-back Pac-12 Gymnast of the Year Jade Carey led the way as the conference’s only gymnast to earn the maximum Regular Season All-America First Team honors, picking up the award in the all-around and all four individual events. UCLA’s Jordan Chiles collected the second-most in the Pac-12 with first-team awards in the all-around and three events (vault, bars, floor), while teammate, 2023 Pac-12 Freshman of the Year Selena Harris, was a first-team honoree in the all-around and earned second team honors in the vault, bars and beam. UCLA junior Chae Campbell rounded out the Bruin honorees with second team status on vault and floor." Jordan Chiles and Jade Carey tied for the floor title, Jade won the All Around title as well as the beam title. Now the shining star SECs yes this is probably the most exciting championships yet because jam packed with greatness. (according to Southeastern Conference), "Session one was Auburn, Georgia, Mizzou and Arkansas. Session two was Florida, Kentucky, Bama and LSU." Florida killed as per use. They won because like its Florida so yeah. It doesn't really say the standings  I just know Florida won so like that's all we need to know.
